In 1902, at the house of Isidoro Vannozzi at Colle del Capitano, a tomb is discovered where a chariot of the mid VI century B.C. is found (from 1903 at the New York Metropolitan Museum).

Biga of Monteleone di Spoleto

The jewel of Monteleone is the "Etruscan Biga", an ancient parade chariot in walnut fully covered with gilded bronze plates decorated with embossed application of ivory plaques.

Butino

The village of Butino, whose name refers to the particular wealth of water sources (there is, in fact, a "small vent tower" pertinent to the oldest aqueduct of the Sixteenth century in Monteleone) is situated on the slopes of Birbone Mount, around the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli (XVI century).
